“Clinician, teacher, leader” – Words used to describe Dr Jennifer Hall from Saint John, New Brunswick who is known for her dedication and enthusiasm which she brings to every task.
Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, Jennifer graduated from Memorial University in 1991. She began her career as a Clinical Associate with the Newfoundland Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation. She later started her family practice at Saint John’s Community Health Centre while serving as Program Director in the Department of Family Medicine at Memorial. She obtained her Certification with the College in 1994 and Fellowship in 2005.
In 2002 Jennifer moved to New Brunswick where she joined the Saint John Family Medicine Teaching Unit. Since 2004 she has served as Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Site Director at the Saint John site of Dalhousie University. In 2007 she became the Residency Program Director in the Department of Family Medicine.
Jennifer has been an active member of CFPC committees at the provincial and national levels. She has made significant contributions through her participation with the Palliative Care Committee, CPD Committee, Alternate Route to Certification Working Group, and the Nominating Committee for the Section of Teachers. She currently serves as a member of the CFPC Accreditation Committee. In 2008 she won a CFPC Award of Excellence for her outstanding contribution to family medicine.
Together with her husband, David, Jennifer enjoys hiking, boating, and running. She also takes pleasure in playing bridge and volunteering with Hospice Saint John.
